My Art this Term

So I am doing this so everyone can look and look at my art and say wow and maybe follow what I have done

This first one is about my tessellating art and we had to use mirrors to see if it was the same as the other side. Her is my art

So my next one is on just my normal art and I am playing with my Cousin on his farm but I am on the swinging swing and my cousin is on the bouncy Trampoline.

The last one is my flower art and I have done a sunflower with a couple of green flowers that hasn't grown properly so it is green and there are red leaves because they are overgrown.

So see you later

Bye.

Dear Mr M,

Hi, My name is Catie. I am from Yaldhurst School and you took My group to up conical hill. I would like to thank you for helping out in The cabins.

I enjoyed The hydro sides but The  most fun of all was going down The superbowl with you because it went really fast. I remember you falling out of The ring and face planting and going down the shoot before me plus everyone laughing at you and you were jealous of me because you didn’t go down the shoot properly.

I would like to ask a couple of questions. What was your favourite activity? Did you like the accommodation? Did you sleep well? Please leave a comment!!

Write here: Once again I would to thank you for coming and hope you enjoyed camp and hope you come next year.  If you love this please comment down below for a shoot out in our next writing post.

Yours sincerely

Acrostic Peom

I am chilaxing
I wonder why Mr M is crazy and a cuckoo brussel sprouty lover
I hear yelling  everywhere
I see wonderful workers
I want money so I can be filthy rich
I am chilaxing
I pretend I am at home chilaxing
I feel my dog liking me on pet day
I touch the playground for play time
I worry when Mr M will be crazy
I feel sad when the class rats  don’t come
I am chilaxing
I understand how people feel
I say hello and welkom ( dutch word) to yaldhurst
I dream having 10 horses
I try to do my best
I hope I will be in the highest group
I am chilaxing

The Great All Black Captain... Fred Allen!

Described as an ‘immaculate player’, Fred Allen went on to become the most successful All Black coach ever: during his tenure, between 1966 and 1968, the team won all 14 tests. His renowned skill for motivating his players earned him the nickname ‘The Needle’.
Allen’s contribution to New Zealand rugby was recognised with a knighthood in 2010. He is unique in having been inducted twice into the New Zealand Sporting Hall of Fame – for his coaching achievements and as a member of the army team. On the international stage he was recognised with induction into the International Rugby Hall of Fame in London in 2005.
Fred Allen was born in Oamaru and played for Canterbury before the Second World War. He came to national attention as a leading figure in the NZEF ‘Kiwis’ Army team (Khaki All Blacks) that toured Britain at the end of the war. Described by the famous rugby commentator Winston McCarthy as ‘absolutely immaculate in his football … a beautiful footballer’, Allen settled in Auckland after the war and made his debut for the All Blacks in the two-test series against Australia in 1946. He captained the All Blacks in all of his 21 games in the black jersey, including six tests. The Encyclopedia of NZ Rugbydescribed Allen as ‘one of the greatest post-war All Black backs playing equally well at either 1st or 2nd five-eighth’. Winston McCarthy named him ‘one of the finest five-eighths of all times’.
The 1949 tour of South Africa marked the end of Allen’s playing career. While the test matches were close affairs, the Springboks triumphed 4-0. Allen, who also shouldered much of the responsibility for coaching on that tour, was hampered by injuries and stood down from the final two test matches.
Having hung up his boots, he turned to coaching. It was in this role that he truly stamped his mark on Auckland and New Zealand rugby. As Auckland's selector-coach from 1957 to 1963 Allen became one of the most successful Ranfurly Shield coaches of all time, helping make Auckland the dominant force of New Zealand rugby. Higher honours followed and he became an All Black selector and then All Black coach in 1966. In his 14 tests as coach the All Blacks were not only unbeaten but gained widespread admiration for playing attractive running rugby.

                               Is he alive?

All Black great Sir Fred Allen has passed away.
Sir Fred, who at age 92 was the oldest living All Black, had been battling ill health for some time and was in full-time care on the Whangaparoa Peninsula.
He passed away at 3.30am on Saturday morning.
Despite illness, Sir Fred tried to remain as active as ever in recent times.
Earlier this week he unveiled a bridge on Sir Fred All Walk of Honour at Auckland Memorial Park, Silverdale.
Both his late wife, Norma, and son, Murray, are buried at Auckland Memorial Park.
Sir Fred, who was born in Oamaru in 1920, was one of the great servants of New Zealand rugby.
He is among the rare group of players to have both played in and coached the All Blacks.
The star first-five played 21 matches for the All Blacks, including six tests, between 1946-49.
He signalled his retirement from test rugby by throwing his rugby boots into the sea while on the All Blacks' return from their disappointing 1949 tour to South Africa.
He would have debuted for the All Blacks earlier in life had it not been for the outbreak of World War II in 1939.
Prior to making the All Blacks, he was one of the star players of the legendary New Zealand Defence Force's Kiwis rugby team which toured Europe in the months following the end of WWII.
The side also included his great mate and fellow future All Black sensation, Bob Scott.
After ending his playing days, Sir Fred took up coaching.
He was an All Black selector between 1964-65 and then coached the men in black between 1966-68.
His coaching tenure, which saw him known as The Needle, included the All Blacks winning all 14 tests under his control.
Allen's tremendous service to New Zealand rugby as a player, coach and administrator was honoured many times, including in late 2002 when he was presented with a silver tray in a special lifetime achievement award ceremony at the New Zealand Rugby Football Union's awards.
''I was thrilled by that,'' Allen told Sunday News at the time.
''Over the years I've probably been a little outspoken at times toward the New Zealand Rugby Football Union.
''I've felt at times they haven't done the right thing. At times it seems that there had been a bit of jealousy toward me that I was unbeaten as a coach.
''So to get this type of recognition from the NZRFU was something special to me.''
Author and close friend Les Watkins - who co-wrote last year's top-selling book, Fred The Needle: The Untold Story of Sir Fred Allen - today remembered his mate as ''one of the greatest gentlemen in the business''.
''He is one of the finest, most-inspiring men I have ever come across,'' Watkins said.
''He remade New Zealand rugby after the war. He played a big role in resurrecting rugby and promoting it after the war.''

                             Who did he meet?

Richie McCaw, Dan Carter, Dane Coles and lots of other rugby players that I don't know but I will update it if I do find out.

Rufferella the rabbit

One day, There was a kind and thoughtful rabbit and so were her parents.
Their castle was full of lots of flowers.
Her name was Rufferella.
She has a beautiful soft like silk pink dress.

One afternoon she called on her parents.
"Mum and Dad. Please can I go to the market and get a scarf please?"
They said" Yes you can but be back in two hours
and also be careful not to be shot or captured by a person".
So of she went down to town.

Soon she saw a rack of scarfs and went to get one or three off the rack.
She did not know it was  a trap by a farmer called "Bruce".
He wanted a pet rabbit to love because he only had some cattle and sheep.
But Rufferella was a very smart rabbit. Smarter than her brothers and sisters.

As soon as Bruce saw Rufferella he turned the rack into a dog!
Rufferella was so terrified, she ran back to castle to tell them what had just happened to her. But someone had just told her mum and dad what happened because apparently all the village had come to the castle for shelter.
Bruce was so frantic that he kicked the face dog over.

After that he put signs saying "Cute little bunny wanted" all over his town.
On poles, In the newspaper, On his mailbox and in supermarkets.
As soon as the town had seen this they were terrified.
Soon Bruce was the only person in town because they were so scared that they went from Nelson to Christchurch to live there.

But Bruce had followed them to Christchurch but this time arrested for violence to both towns.
That was a relief for the rabbit towns because they were to terrified to move back to their houses.

But Bruce was allowed out of prison to live in the forest where the rabbits live.
Soon every rabbit was making a home in the castle including a parent room, a children room and a baby room with a fish tank full of babies.

It was a great, I would have  gone if I was a rabbit!
